Football is a Contact Sport is a collectible, zine-inspired periodical centered around fun facts and terminology, with a new topic introduced each month. The design follows a systematic structure to maintain consistency while offering room for creativity. For the first issue, I chose to tackle the topic of American football, aiming to challenge its stereotypical association with masculinity. The final design uses soft script typography to add a flirty touch to the overall aesthetic. The imagery features football players in action, depicted in a flipbook-like sequence, bringing energy and movement to the design. The final product is readable, adventurous, and appealing to curious eccentrics who enjoy both football and design.
